Burilda PC Mature Age Competitions
The Mature Age Competitions are:
· Normally held on the second Wednesday of each even month sometimes this clashes with a major competition and the MAC has to be re-scheduled. To be sure, check on our calendar≫
· At SISC (the range for the 2000 Sydney Olympics)
· The first event commences at 10:00hrs
· The programme is typically:
o 10:00 Standard Pistol
o After Standard Pistol, the precision of Sport or Centre Fire (at the option of each entrant)
o After a lunch break (typically around 13:00hrs), the Rapid Fire Stage
o After that, 40-shot Air Pistol (or maybe, Rapid Fire Pistol for those interested)
· There are no grades or handicaps applicable instead competitors are grouped by age (women get a +5 year advantage)
o Group 1 60 to 64 years
o Group 2 65 to 70 years
o Etc.
