ADDITIONAL MAC COMPETITION EACH MONTH We are now running a
second MAC competition each month: The MAC competitions will
now be both 2nd and 4th
Wednesday, The competition format
remains the same – Std, then CF or Sport and then
40-shot Air Pistol, First event (Standard) for the 4th
Wednesday only at 10:00 with
report time of 09:50 – other events follow.
Note, this is a different start time than that for the 2nd
Wednesday MAC! While the age-group ‘grades’ and the Les Spurrier
Trophy will remain for the regular 2nd Wednesday MAC, these will not apply at the 4th
Wednesday MAC competitions, instead, the 4th Wednesday competition will be a self-handicap format, o Points awarded for the
closest to the max possible, o Points will be on the
basis of closest to the possible in each match (i.e. 600 for STD and
CF/Sport, 400 for the 40-shot AP) with § 4 points for first in each
match, § 3 points for next closest, § 2 points for next closest,
and § 1 point each for everybody
else competing in a match. o Terry Layton (Genesys PC)
has donated an annual trophy to be named after the late Barry Cameron. This trophy will be awarded to the
